Asian stock markets were trading mixed in early trade on Monday with the Shenzhen component down 1.5 per cent. Japan's Nikkei 225 gained 1.08 per cent, while the Topix index gained one per cent. South Korea’s Kospi also traded 0.37 per cent higher.
